Message They do squeel badly, but I know that is totally different. But, my NA will sit there and spin the tires really well if I want it to. Will also bark in 2nd if I shift hard and my "Key Value" clutch has 52,000 miles on it and has gotten a lot of abuse from me(point being I doubt it is putting down all the power) I don't know about having a bad set of Khumo's. I know that my first set of A520's gripped much better than my second set. I bitched about my second set of A520's on the forum, but I still think they were gripier than the Kumhos. However, when the Yoko's started to wear out, they got *very* bad traction and I had to be very carefull taking right angle corners at any speed. I don't know why, but the Kumho's just don't seem to hook up nearly as well for launches from lights at anything more than moderate throttle application than the Yoko's did. The TWI on the A520's was only 180, the Kumho's are 280 so they should not be as sticky anyways I guess. I don't know about the noise issue as far as stickier squeeling louder. It just feels like the kumhos let my Z step out farther in corners than the A520's did. Maybe it is just my perception, but I am not ANYWHERE near as confident driving on these tires.
